Now you see it...
Now you don`t. Just a couple of weeks ago Labour were condemning Alex Salmond for being both an MP and an MSP. I know this because when I looked at the Scottish Labour website this morning it was a story on their front page. I was a wee bit surprised to see the story given it now seems to be ok for an MSP to also be an MP now...what with Margaret Curran MSP now being their presumptive by-election candidate.
This afternoon I was online briefly when out and about, I attempted to show someone the story as an example of the various wee ways in which Labour really haven`t got their act together on the messages they are putting out. But only a few hours after I had seen it and after a couple of weeks of being on their website...it was gone.
But the internet is a wonderful thing and I`ve managed to get my hands on a copy of the story. Labour’s Michael McMahon is quoted as saying in it that "It's time Mr Salmond stopped taking the taxpayer for a ride in the House of Commons. He has a job to do at Holyrood and Bute House, he should concentrate on that 100 per cent."
Funny now that Curran is seeking to do the same thing that Labour are trying to airbrush that story out of history. But have a wee look below for a handy spot the difference of the Labour website.
